Who We Are

CHOMA brings Halal Swahili street food to London's vibrant markets. We're a passionate food stall specializing in smoky nyama choma grilled fresh over charcoal, halal-certified for everyone to enjoy.

Our Roots

Founded in the streets of London, CHOMA captures the bold flavors of East African streets. We started as a low-cost market stall using simple charcoal BBQs and electric fryers to deliver real Swahili taste without compromise.

What We Serve

Our menu stars nyama choma tender grilled paired with chips, and fresh salad drizzled in ukwaju and pili-pili. Everything's cooked on-site for that signature smoky vibe, blending Swahili traditions with fast market service.

Market Mission

We hit London markets to build community around genuine East African eats, standing out as one of the few spots for proper nyama choma. From stall to events, CHOMA scales Swahili street energy for queues, collabs, and celebrations.

Community Connection

Bringing People Together

Food's how we build real community right here in London's markets, bringing people together over the fire like we're sharing plates back home. It's personal for me: grilling feels like family gatherings, where everyone from locals to first-timers chats, laughs, and digs in under our stall
